Ms. Marieke van Beurden has earned her MSc degree in Public Administration, followed by a postgraduate study in Journalism. Since 2006 she has been working as a consultant and project manager for several public and private organizations in change projects in which issues related to ICT, technology and collaboration were designed, implemented and managed. For her postgraduate master’s programme in Public Information Management she did research on spreading innovations in networks and how to build new networks of exploitation between multidisciplinary stakeholders in the health sector.
Since 2010 Ms. Marieke van Beurden has put this into practice in the context of health & technology. She was one of the key figures in the establishment of the cooperative Slimmer Leven 2020 for which she developed the business plan and actively involved all relevant parties. Nowadays she is responsible for the project initiation and development of large scaling up projects in the joint implementation programme of Slimmer Leven 2020 and supports the building and maintaining of a knowledge infrastructure between the partners.
With her analytical background Ms. Marieke van Beurden has acquired a strong understanding of creating coalition models in open innovation networks. Combined with a proactive, result driven and enthusiastic attitude she knows how to connect partners in a political context on specific themes and stimulate cooperation in concrete initiatives.
