Triantopoulos Vassilis is the CEO of BIOAXIS Healthcare since 2004. In this role, he is the main driver and decision maker of business strategy across Europe. He mediates market opportunities for the company’s countries of operation and oversees European operations to ensure best practice outcomes. His foresight in medical trends and new technologies has yielded success and has supported BIOAXIS Healthcare’s capacity for expansion.
Vassilis started his first business at the age of 21 in IT Security. The company is currently the main representative of VeriSign, Check Point, Netscape, amongst others in more than ten countries, where he is still a shareholder.
He was also a consultant for international organizations (IMI, Kroll, etc.) for the design and implementation of electronic security and e-health projects in Europe, Balkan Countries and the Middle East.
His educational background is in Information Management Systems (BA) with specialisation in Healthcare Technologies at the University of Wolverhampton.
He holds several positions as Board Member in high-technology companies and is an active member in Non-profit Bodies, including the Presidency of YoungLeaders – Young Entrepreneurs Association.
YoungLeaders, is a Non-Profit Organisation founded in 2007 by a team of young and successful businessmen. YoungLeaders aims at the promotion and development of young entrepreneurship in Greece via dynamic and innovative actions and is the first time that an institution assembles such a great and a continuously increasing number of young and active entrepreneurs from trade, industry, manufactures, shipping, information technology, health, media and publicity, education, etc. The members of the Association share the vision of searching, exploitation and complete appointment of young inspiration and creativity while promoting enterprising action within Greece and abroad.
