He started his career as project leader for the Embassy of France in Algiers, then in New York. He exercised for numerous years the highest functions within banking and insurance-related institutions, before creating the Covea Group in 2003. Covea included first the MAAF and the MMA Groups, which were joined from 2005 by entities such as GMF and AZUR to develop together common tools and skills, opened to other mutual insurance companies, to allow them the realization of economies of scale.
Today he is an administrator and Vice-president of the Covea Group. Founder member of the National Reference Center Homecare and Independent Living, Jean-Claude Seys was elected President of the Center in April, 2013. By taking this Presidency, he intends to continue to develop services for homecare and independent living thanks to digital innovation.
He has always been led by the only conviction to make organizations with different cultures live together and gather skills from varied horizons to build partnerships which allow the development of a united and social economy.
