Athena Peppes is a research fellow and economist at the Accenture Institute for High Performance.
Her role focuses on understanding the impact of global trends on businesses and how organizations can respond to them. Specific areas of expertise include demographic change, emerging markets, consumer trends, and innovation.
She has written and spoken extensively on the silver economy and the opportunities associated with population ageing. Her recent publications include “Demography and Destiny”, “The Seven Myths of Population Ageing” and “New Waves of Growth: Unlocking opportunity in a multi-polar world”.
Before joining Accenture, Peppes was an economist with Arcelor Mittal and the Association of British Insurers. She holds degrees in MSc Economics and BA Economics and Politics from the University of York, UK. She is based in London.
