Previously he was Project Manager at Borås Stad Project (August 2010 – September 2012). A large scale project investigating the benefits and how communities can move to social care alarm systems based on digital technology and Internet communication. The project was completed in September 2012 with 1000 installed digital clients. To move from traditional PSTN systems to fully digital IP based communication takes a solid effort by involved parties. A follow up of the digital social care alarm systems uptime resulted in 99.9% availability. The clients were automatically checked every other minute.
From August 2007 – August 2010 he was Technical Director at Frontdesk Publishing AB: Using IT and the Internet to digitally print your daily newspaper at a place near you, available as paper copies are delivered at home.
He was Information management consultant at Leidegren Consulting (November 2004 – July 2007) and at Consignit AB (May 2000 – November 2004), Gothenburg. In Consignit AB he was responsible for enterprise information management in a large Pharmaceutical Company; also, for tools and practices for assembling of New Drug Applications.
Johnny Leidegren studied Theoretical physics, Physics, Mathematics, Oceanography at the Göteborgs Universitet (1967 – 1973).
