Hervé Le Guyader spent the first part of his career working for the private sector in telecom, network and software industries. First a R&D h/w, then a s/w developer, he then moved on to marketing, sales and international distribution activities for digital multimedia products, services and solutions, notably through a six years stay in Boston, USA.
The second part of his career is built in the public sector where, taking stock of the socioeconomic development potential offered by digital technologies to regional and European sustainable competiveness, he creates the first French Regional ICT development agency and extends his vision and operational skills to the European level by joining the European Regional Information Society Association where he is elected President on four consecutive mandates. He also establishes an international expertise consulting practice specialising on the technical, socioeconomic, cultural and legal aspects of policies, projects and transactions enabled by the digital economy.
He is today:
• Programme Manager at Conseil Régional d’Aquitaine
• Managing Director (founder) of Aquitaine Europe Communication (AEC), on temporary leave
• CEO of hlg Expertise, an international ICT consulting practice.
