Rachelle Kaye, PhD., is Coordinator, Maccabi International Center for Research and Development, Maccabi Healthcare Services, Israel.
Dr. Rachelle Kaye is a member of the Board of Directors of EHTEL (the European Health Telematics Association) and is the Coordinator of the International Center for Research and Development of Maccabi Healthcare Services, the second largest HMO in Israel covering 2 million lives.
She is also a consultant to the Gertner Institute, one of the leaders today in innovation in telemedicine. Rachelle has been working in the area of Health IT for over 25 years as Maccabi was one of the pioneers in this field on an international level, having implemented a central EMR in 1990, which is used by all providers with a well-developed PHR that gives members access to their medical information. Rachelle has been an active participant in European ICT projects via Maccabi as well as other European organizations such as AIM (the International Association of Mutual Healthcare Insurers).
Rachelle lectures, presents at both European and international conferences and publishes in the Health IT area.
